Ever since the s/s 2012 fashion shows I've been obsessed with the yellow Prada car dress. Of course I can afford nothing of the sort, but then this lovely number popped op on Romwe (here). I have to say, I'm not a fan of buying knock-offs. I like 'inspired by', but not 'directly copied' and this is definitely a one on one copy. That's why I had some doubt about if I should order it or not. After a while I just couldn't stop thinking about it and decided it should be mine. I was a bit worried that it wouldn't be as great in real life, but I think this dress is super cute, the print is awesome and I'm glad I bought it!

Sorry I've skipped on posting for a while again. I've been a bit under the weather, so I've been hanging out on the couch in sweat pants watching whole seasons of SNL for like a week. Not so bloggable. What have you been up to?

Katherine said...: everynow and then the original is so outrageously expensive i think it's justifiable. i design products and work with suppliers in asia and i know a lot about what it costs to make a product and what companies make off of it. so sometimes designer items are just priced because they can be priced that high which annoyes me. then again, i don't like that it is stealing a design essentially. anyhow - i get the dilemma - i'm in the same boat. and this dress is flipping adorable on you - so i say it's worth it.; April 22, 2012 at 6:19 AM
